In May 2021,&nbsp;the&nbsp;efficiency&nbsp;is&nbsp;now&nbsp;already&nbsp;at 25.21%.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In\u00a0addition,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solartraders.com\/en\/producers\/longi-solar\">Longi<\/a>\u00a0announced\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0had\u00a0achieved\u00a0two\u00a0more\u00a0efficiency\u00a0records. A\u00a0monocrystalline Topcon\u00a0p-type\u00a0bifacial\u00a0solar\u00a0cell\u00a0was\u00a0found\u00a0to\u00a0have\u00a0an\u00a0efficiency\u00a0of\u00a025.02%. This was also\u00a0the first time\u00a0that\u00a0a\u00a0cell\u00a0based\u00a0on\u00a0this\u00a0technology\u00a0had\u00a0exceeded\u00a0the\u00a025%\u00a0mark.\u00a0Another\u00a0record\u00a0was\u00a0announced\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0HTJ\u00a0monocrystalline\u00a0solar\u00a0cell.\u00a0 This\u00a0cell\u00a0was\u00a0produced\u00a0by\u00a0Longi&#8217;s\u00a0New Technology R&amp;D\u00a0Centre\u00a0and\u00a0achieved\u00a0an\u00a0efficiency\u00a0of\u00a025.26%.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Longi&nbsp;continues&nbsp;to&nbsp;pursue&nbsp;the&nbsp;goal&nbsp;of&nbsp;continuous&nbsp;improvement&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;solar&nbsp;industry&nbsp;to&nbsp;achieve&nbsp;higher&nbsp;efficiency&nbsp;and&nbsp;more&nbsp;sustainability.&nbsp;According&nbsp;to&nbsp;Li Hua, vice&nbsp;president and&nbsp;head&nbsp;of&nbsp;Longi Solar&#8217;s research&nbsp;and&nbsp;development&nbsp;center,&nbsp;increasing&nbsp;such&nbsp;cell&nbsp;efficiency&nbsp;is&nbsp;particularly&nbsp;important&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp; further&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;photovoltaic&nbsp;technology.&nbsp;For&nbsp;research&nbsp;and&nbsp;development,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Chinese&nbsp;company&nbsp;invested&nbsp;nearly&nbsp;eight&nbsp;billion&nbsp;yuan&nbsp;in 2020 and 2021. This&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;of about&nbsp;one&nbsp;billion euros.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"conclusion\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00a0we\u00a0know,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solartraders.com\/en\/producers\/longi-solar\">Longi<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0currently\u00a0the\u00a0largest\u00a0solar\u00a0manufacturer\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0world. This\u00a0is\u00a0usually calculated by\u00a0market\u00a0value\u00a0and\u00a0revenue. Last\u00a0year,\u00a0Longi\u00a0shipped\u00a0a total\u00a0of\u00a024.5 GW\u00a0of\u00a0modules and\u00a0thus\u00a0achieved\u00a0a\u00a0turnover\u00a0of\u00a0around\u00a054.58\u00a0billion\u00a0RMB (8.43\u00a0billion\u00a0US\u00a0dollars).\u00a0It\u00a0could\u00a0also\u00a0be determined\u00a0that\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0turn\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0year,\u00a0the\u00a0company\u00a0had\u00a0annual\u00a0production\u00a0capacities\u00a0of\u00a085 GW, 30 GW and 50 GW\u00a0for\u00a0its\u00a0mono\u00a0wafers,\u00a0cells\u00a0and\u00a0panels,\u00a0respectively.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;data&nbsp;listed&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;findings&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;article,&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;expected&nbsp;that&nbsp;Longi&nbsp;will&nbsp;steadily&nbsp;continue&nbsp;to&nbsp;invest&nbsp;significant&nbsp;sums in&nbsp;research&nbsp;and&nbsp;development&nbsp;to&nbsp;remain&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;forefront&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;market.
